Poultry misting System

Description

Poultry Misting System

Misting is a highly effective method for reducing mortality rates among poultry, ensuring stress-free broilers that continue to eat and grow, layers that produce more eggs, and breeders that are more active and produce higher quality eggs. Evaporative cooling is a powerful way to mitigate heat stress and can significantly lower the temperature inside the poultry shed, making a difference between high-quality and mediocre outcomes. The Greenly Fogger System consists of a high-pressure pump, pipeline, fogger nozzles, and a timer unit. The water is sprayed as an ultra-fine mist, some of which evaporates upon reaching the ground, absorbing the heat in the atmosphere and creating a powerful surface cooling effect for the birds.

The installation of misting and fogging nozzles provides poultry farmers with the flexibility to apply them within a wide pressure range of 15 to 70 bar, with droplets of less than 50 µm, which is optimal for rapid evaporation and effective cooling. These nozzles can be installed in traditional overhead nozzle arrangements using PVC pipes, connectors, and fittings, with a distance of 8 feet between each nozzle line, and 2.5 to 3.0 meters between atomizers in the line.

Poultry animals perform best at a temperature range of 11 to 26 degrees Celsius, and their behavior and performance are closely tied to the same. Therefore, using a high-quality misting system can yield the best results for poultry farmers, ensuring better growth rates, higher egg production, and healthier, more active breeders.
